Duane Diddy Rocks Again!
Damn, I remember the first time I saw Duane Diddy and band unloading their gear in front of CBGB's. We were puffing a doobie and saw this tall skinny guy dressed in fancy western sort of stuff but with the full greaser pompadore. Duck tail and like Elvis came out of a comic book. I thought these guys better be good looking like this.
Well as it looked that they had half their gear unpacked all of a sudden they were packing gear back in. I saw them finish and start to get in to take off. Whoa! I went up and asked what was up. I had gotten very interested to hear what they had to offer.
Duane, the tall skinny guy with the exagerated Elvis doo told me that someone had taken the drummers foot pedal while they were unloading. MaaaannnNN! Shit, now they were leaving and I had nothing. Well, Duane was all heart and gave me a tape he did with a band prior to this one. I treasure that and will keep it to myself for some later date.
In the meantime Duane Diddy has left us a couple new songs for the 5th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 murders at MusicTV.com.
