Duane Diddy Rocks Again!

Damn, I remember the first time I saw Duane Diddy and band unloading their gear in front of CBGB's. We were puffing a doobie and saw this tall skinny guy dressed in fancy western sort of stuff but with the full greaser pompadore. Duck tail and like Elvis came out of a comic book. I thought these guys better be good looking like this.

Well as it looked that they had half their gear unpacked all of a sudden they were packing gear back in. I saw them finish and start to get in to take off. Whoa! I went up and asked what was up. I had gotten very interested to hear what they had to offer.

Duane, the tall skinny guy with the exagerated Elvis doo told me that someone had taken the drummers foot pedal while they were unloading. MaaaannnNN! Shit, now they were leaving and I had nothing. Well, Duane was all heart and gave me a tape he did with a band prior to this one. I treasure that and will keep it to myself for some later date.

In the meantime Duane Diddy has left us a couple new songs for the 5th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 murders at MusicTV.com.

911 Blues Tour 2006 Could Be Huge!

There is a new project happening called the 911 Blues Tour.

The blues comes from the heart and soul of our beings. When confronting the truth and evidence of the criminal activities surrounding the 911 demolitions in NYC along side a direct attack on our nations military headquarters in the nations capital, there is no other place for ones soul

This tour is being created to bring awareness of the problems Americans are now confronted with. Private and corporate cabals have taken over our government and country, they are committing international terror, murdering and enslaving populations. They are committing criminal acts around the world in the name of the United States and ?We the People? are and will be paying the price.

So, this is about standing up for our rights, bringing the people together to hear cool music, show them the films, hand them the literature, talk to them, get them to be active and bring them all to NYC for 9/11/2006 for a rally to restore our Republic.

I want to try and bring the tour from New York City at the end of May to California and back to NYC by 9/11. Covering the north across the top, and the south on the way back and up the east coast. We want to stop in every town and drop down a 40' rig stage on wheels and rock, rap, and roll the information into the American hearts.

Yep, this is not about taking some big name band bounding around the country to reap in huge profits. This is about word up. 911Eyewitness says it up front, bombs in the building and no investigation. I think you know the crimes I think we know it is the time.

So, we are looking for bands, and MusicTV (in its tenth year anniversary) is sponsoring the tour. If you have a band, a production facility, and mobile crew, gear and are willing to help and get involved, 911 Blues Tour wants to hear from you.

OnlineTV Music Entertainment With Keane

The little engine that could, OnlineTV has been chugging along on the world?s music scene watching for emerging talent since 1996. Tonight the little OnlineTV went off and brought the world a brilliant live concert from the hottest rising talent on the charts, Keane. How in the world did these guys get this kind of early footage?

We watched this week as the site prepared the pages for the event and wondered with the rest of the fans if they really had that stuff. Only the long dedicated fans have ever heard of OnlineTV and some of them never heard of or where the boys first cut their songs. Tonight we saw it; there it was, online and live. A real treasure!

We are suitably impressed to find Rick Siegel back in the drivers seat at OnlineTV and taking his visions back out for a drive around. With the worlds bandwidth increasing, his vision for a media portal has finally found its time. Let?s wish him great success now that the world is ready for his vision and online TV.
